2024년 가을, 겨울 패션 경향을 한발 앞서 볼 수 있는 ‘2024 F/W 서울패션위크’가 지난 2월 1일부터 5일까지 5일간 동대문디자인플라자(DDP)와 성수 에스팩토리에서 성황리에 끝내고 폐막했다.
2024 F/W 서울패션위크는 21개 브랜드 패션쇼(DDP 15개, 성수 에스팩토리 6개) ?68개 브랜드, 300여 명의 국내외 바이어(해외 14개국 100명)가 참여하는 트레이드쇼로 구성됐다.
이번 패션쇼에는 글로벌 성장 가능성이 높은 젊은 브랜드의 참여 비중을 높이고 패션의 성지, ‘성수’로 무대를 확장했다. 2024 F/W 서울패션위크 런웨이에 오른 주요 브랜드들의 런웨이 컬렉션을 소개한다.

브랜드 컨셉
2017년 서울 컬렉션으로 시작한 스트릿 컬쳐 기반의 브랜드.
시대에 맞서는 힙합 문화의 '저항 정신'으로 부터 영감을 얻어 그 속에서 피어나는 청춘들의 성장과 희망의 메세지를 자유롭고, 편안한 스트릿 룩으로 표현한다.
It is a street culture-based brand that started as a Seoul collection in 2017.
Inspired by the ""spirit of resistance"" of hip-hop culture against the times, it expresses the message of youth growth and hope blooming in a free and comfortable street look.

변하지 않는 본질 ‘정체성’
홀리넘버세븐은 자극적이고 퇴폐적인 문화가 하나의 패션 코드가 되어버린 시대에 맞서 긍정과 희망의 스토리를 녹여낸 디자인으로도 충분히 힙(hip)한 브랜드를 전개할 수 있다는 확신을 갖고 2017년 1월 1일 탄생했다.
'반항' 보단 '저항'
우리가 말하는 스트리트 패션의 본질은 ‘반항’이 아닌 ‘저항’이다. 시대에 맞서는 대담함을 가진 청춘들의 저항정신에서 영감을 얻어 자유롭고 다이내믹한 디자인을 추구하며 그 속에서 피어나는 성장과 희망의 메시지를 스트리트 컬처의 대표적인 상징들과 만나 패션이라는 매개체로 전달한다.
경험을 나누고, 서로의 영감이 되다
MBA 크루와의 협업을 통해 장르적 제약에서 벗어나 화합적이면서도 개인성이 살아있는 컬렉션을 시도했다. 자유롭고 거침없는 움직임으로 자신을 표현하는 힙합 댄서를 우리만의 시각으로 해석하여 새로운 창작물을 완성했다.
앞으로도 우리는 댄서, DJ 등 다양한 서브컬처의 아티스트들과 복합적으로 협업하는 방향을 지속 한다.
계속되는 우리의 도전
새로운 것을 만들기 위해 또 다른 쓰레기를 만들지 않고 지금 있는 것들을 다시 쓰는 근본적인 측면의 업사이클링 방식으로 컬렉션을 접근했다.
품질에 이상이 없는데도 시즌 변화로 방치되거나 과잉 생산된 오버스톡(Overstock)원단과 트렌드 변화와 수출 감소 등의 이유로 매립, 소각될 데드스톡(Dead stock) 원단과 부자재에 디자이너의 가치를 불어넣어 새로운 컬렉션을 준비했다.
이번 시즌은 과잉 생산된 레더 소재를 활용해 우리만의 스타일로 스트리트 무드를 표현해 보았다. 사용한 원단들과 부자재도 기본적으로 재활용 소재와 친환경 소재를 최대한 활용하여 옷을 만들었다.
IDENTITY, 정체성에 대한 고찰을 통해 우리 스스로가 주체가 되어 더욱 단단해진 기반으로 '반항'보단 '저항','부정'보단 '긍정'의 키워드를 가지고 입는 사람의 언어가 되는 선한 스트리트 컬처 브랜드를 지향한다.

Holy Number Seven, established on January 1, 2017, embraced the vision of evolving into a trendsetting brand. By infusing designs with elements of positivity and hope, it challenges the prevailing trends of provocative and decadent fashion.
'Resistance' Over 'Rebellion'.
Our interpretation of street fashion centers not on 'rebellion' but 'resistance.'
Inspired by the audacity of youth who stand against the times, we create designs that are both free and dynamic.
These designs symbolize growth and hope, drawing essence from the iconic symbols of street culture.
Fostering Collaboration and Inspiration.
In collaboration with MBA Crew, we ventured into a collection that transcends genre boundaries, aiming for a blend of harmony and individuality.
This collection, inspired by the uninhibited expression of hip-hop dancers, represents our latest creative endeavor.
Our commitment to collaboration extends to artists from various subcultures, including dancers and DJs.
Embracing Sustainable Challenges.
In our quest to innovate without contributing to waste, we adopted an upcycling approach for our collection, repurposing existing materials.
This season, we utilized surplus leather to craft street-inspired designs in our unique style.
We prepared a new collection using overstock and deadstock fabrics and materials, which, despite their quality, would be discarded due to seasonal shifts or export reductions. By integrating the designer's vision, we revitalized these materials, focusing heavily on recycled and eco-friendly components.
IDENTITY seeks to become more than just apparel; it aims to be a language for those who wear it, grounded in an ethos where we are the narrative.
Embracing 'Resistance' over 'Rebellion' and 'Positivity' over 'Negativity ,' we aspire to establish a street culture brand that not only embodies these concepts but also positively influences the wearer's expression.
